How do I book a repair?

Fill in the booking form on this site, or call/text me. I'll get back to you within 24 hours with a rough quote and to arrange courier collection.

How long does the whole process take?

Typically 3-7 days from courier collection to return. Simple repairs (virus removal, SSD upgrades) are often faster. Complex hardware issues may take longer. I'll always give you an estimated timeline.

Do I have to use the courier?

No. If you'd prefer to drop off and collect in person, we can arrange that. Just mention it when you book. This saves you the courier cost.

What areas do you cover?

All of Limerick city and county with courier service. Nearby counties (Clare, Tipperary, Kerry) may be possible - ask for a quote. For remote services, I can help anyone in Ireland.

Pricing & Payment

How much will my repair cost?

It depends on the problem. Check the Services & Pricing page for typical costs. I'll always give you a quote before starting any work - no surprises.

What if you can't fix it?

You don't pay for the repair. You'll only pay the courier cost for collection/return. I'll always be upfront if something can't be fixed.

When do I pay?

After the repair is complete and you've approved the work. Payment is required before your device is dispatched back to you - card or bank transfer online.

How much is the courier?

€50 flat rate for collection and return - any device, anywhere in Limerick city or county. You can also drop off/collect in person to save this cost.

About the Repair

Is my data safe?

Yes. I don't look through personal files - that's not what I'm there for. If data needs to be wiped (e.g., for a Windows reinstall), I'll always ask first and offer to back it up.

What warranty do you offer?

All repairs include a 14-day warranty as standard. Add a Care Pack (+€35) for 90 days, or a Protection Plan (+€60) for a full year. If the same problem comes back within warranty, I'll fix it at no extra charge.

What if something goes wrong after you return it?

Contact me. If it's related to the repair I did, I'll sort it out under warranty. If it's a new issue, I'll give you a quote for fixing it.

Do you repair Macs/Apple devices?

No, I focus on Windows PCs and laptops. For Mac repairs, I'd recommend going to an Apple authorised service provider.

Not Sure What's Wrong?

I don't know what's wrong with my computer

That's fine - most people don't. Book a Video Diagnosis (€10) and we'll figure out the problem together over a quick video call. If you go ahead with a repair, the €10 comes off your bill.

My computer is slow - what do I need?

Usually an SSD upgrade makes the biggest difference. Could also be malware, bloatware, or low RAM. I can diagnose and recommend the best fix.

Is it worth repairing or should I buy new?

I'll always tell you honestly. If a repair would cost more than the device is worth, I'll say so. Sometimes an upgrade (SSD, RAM) gives you years more life at a fraction of the cost of new.
